The new interior of the canal house K522 was finished during summer. The bel-etage of the main house and back house show detailed restoration with hints of new interventions. The souterrain and basement of the two buildings is new with hints of its history.

The reopening of the inner court upgrades the souterrain spaces with daylight. A frosted glass box is the only element in the court, giving access to a special bathroom underneath in the 18th century basement vault.
