House AYK reached the highest point in May.

The construction of the special 100% wooden cube house started in November 2009 and will be completed around July 2010. Together with Pieters Bouwtechniek Almere, the particular house was engineered completely out of wood.

One of the new quarters of Almere is Noorderplassen. This area of Noorderplassen is rather special, overlooking a swamp next to the wide IJsselmeer. House AYK will be one of the first houses of this new quarter.
