The enterprise took off with a residential skyscraper. The graduation project was designed in full time cooperation with a structural engineer. It received a TU Delft honourable mention for uniting architecture and technology.
The competition Changeable Building Rotterdam was won and in 2003 Mirck Architecture was established. The first completed buildings derived from the Almere competition New Country House. Entry Trinergy is almost finished and at the same time the Daylighthouse was designed and built. Both houses are published and received nominations.
Other competition nominations include the Future Hospitals entry Freeway Center and the BNA YA entry Siamese Skybox. Recently, a fourth and fifth house has been completed. In 2010 an Asian restaurant opened its doors, and in 2011 the extension of a monumental university building will be constructed.
Several projects are expanded with interior design and the team also works on the activation of suburban reinnovation with unsolicited research design.
